Do your manufacturing partners have sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices?

We have a keen interest in the manufacturing practices of our overseas supply chain partners, and we display our certifications on both our packaging and the product information pages of our website. Some certifications, and their required audits, are far more expensive than others, and so we are looking forward to being able to expand our range of certifications as our revenue stream grows.

Do you use animal products in your clothing?

No, we do not. All of our fabrics and materials are synthetic or made from natural plant fibres, minerals or metals. John Romeo is a friend to the animals, and will never profit from the needless suffering of our furry friends.

Why not just form a non-profit organisation instead of a for-profit social enterprise?

While we could sell products to raise money for charitable causes as a non-profit organisation, non-profits are legally prevented from being able to use their revenue to expand their product line. Using revenue for growth is exclusively a for-profit activity. At any rate, we’re here to play, but in doing so, we’d like to encourage a somewhat different kind of capitalism.

Do you have a brick and mortar shop?

We sell exclusively online and, currently, only in the USA (although, we are planning on expanding our sales to Canada and the UK soon). We have regional business offices set up in Atlanta, Toronto (Canada), and Glasgow (UK), but no retail shops planned in the near term.
